About FFDC

We believe all children have God given qualities and talents, and it’s our task at FFDC to provide an atmosphere of mutual support in which children develop a sense of self worth, so that they may grow into responsible committed citizens.

Mission

To provide quality childcare and affordable services to every child in a stable, healthy, educational environment. We do this by way of minimizing parents concerns, while maximizing the children's awareness of their surroundings.

Goals 

• To implement hands on day-to-day interaction with the children to motivate their intellectual skills as well as developing motor skills.
• To provide regular and skilled training to everyone associated with FFDC.
• To organize or implement programs that will motivate or improve the quality of care at the center.
• To encourage parent participation with the children.
• To always put God first when we meet in the morning, and last when we say our farewell.

History

Founded in 1995 as a licensed home based facility; Flowers family Daycare (FFDC) has become well-known throughout the community it serves as a center who provides an encouraging environment for children.  As an Early Learning Center, FFDC continues to be committed to the child and the entire family. Our emphasis is on nurturing every child emotionally, socially and academically.

On January 29, 2007, we opened a new learning facility located in Lanham, Maryland. Currently, FFDC are serving children from ages 18 months to 5 years old throughout the Prince George’s County area.
